This is a 38 minute interview with Reginald Dixon MBE, which was recorded on October 14th 1984, just 2 days before he celebrated his 80th birthday.
This is the last full interview that Reg ever gave before he passed away in May 1985.
The interview formed part of Alan Ashton's 'Pedals, Percussion & Pipes' radio show for BBC Radio Manchester. The interviewer was John McManus (programme manager of BBC Radio Manchester at that time).
